Dr. Y.P Aggarwal is a teacher with a brilliant academic career, and a winner of three highly prestigious international research awards - Fulbright (1994); Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute Faculty Research Award (1993); and Commonwealth (1969). He obtained his Master's degree from Panjab University, an M.Ed. degree from kuruksshetra University and a doctoral degree from the University of Ottawa (Canada). A widely travelled scholar, he has lectured at several highty reputed universities in the U.S.A. and Canada. Dr. Aggarwal has been teaching statistics and research methodology to Postgraduate classes in Education since 1965 and has published several books: Better Sampling: Introduction to Statistics for Social Sciences (Ed); Research in Emerging Fields of Education (E.d); New Dimensions in Education (Ed); Sampling Methods for Social Sciences; Educational Administration and Supervision (Jointly); Abstracts of M.Ed. and M.A. (Education) dissertations (Ed). He has also published over 45 research papers in American and Indian journals. He has been Professor of Research and Head and Dean at kumaon University and Kurukshetra University.
