View AllSorry! Sekonic C-500R ProDigi Color Flash Meter is sold out.
You will be notified when this product will be in stock
Use Sekonic C-500R ProDigiColour Flash Meter as a tool to take your photography to the next higher level. Designed to read spectral sensitivity of both colour film and CCD and CMOS sensors used in today’s digital still and DV cine cameras, this product is one of its kind and immensely helpful for professional photographers and cinematographers.
Controls the Light in Front of your Camera
Working with a single light source is not troublesomeas you can achieve desired colour using the white balance function of your camera or computer. The real problem arises when you add a second light, a light modifier, or work on a location with a wide array of lights like tungsten, halide, vapour and fluorescent. In any of these situations, you will either have to fix it up front or fix it later. Wondering, how will you be able to make changes? The answer is simple. Buy Sekonic C-500R and most of your colour related problems are solved. Some of the key functions performed by this flash meter include arriving at a common, single colour tone that is easy for your camera or software to correct, introducing additional flash illumination in the foreground without making it look like additional flash illumination and colour filtration.
Wireless Radio Triggering Mode
It is the first colour meter to feature a flash triggering radio transmitter module. All you need to do is press the measuring button and it wirelessly triggers flash units up to 100 feet away. As far as compatibility is concerned, the built-in transmitter works well with PocketWizard radio triggering systems and the PocketWizard Wireless Freedom partners (Photogenic, Norman, Lumedyne, Dyna-Lite and Profoto with built-in PocketWizard radio technology). Not to forget, 32 digital coded channels and Quad-Triggering Zones are offered by the Wireless Radio Triggering Mode.
For digital as well as film cameras, the ProdigiColour C-500R measures and displays colour temperature and compensation values in LB/CC index or filter numbers. In Digital mode, the colour temperature and compensation readings are completely based on human visual response. On the contrary, readings are based on the colour characteristics of traditional photographicfilm in the film mode. This colour flash meter from Sekonic has been engineered to include the spectral characteristics of both the systems thereby empowering you with greater control over lighting and colour reproduction than ever before.
The facility to measure colour of flash and ambient light simultaneously is available in non-cord, cord and wireless modes at synch speeds from 1 to 1/500 second. You can read flash brightness in two intensity ranges, H (high) for high-power studio flashes or L (low) lower power or shoe-mount flash units.
Pre-set White Balance / Colour Compensation Function
You can easily use the nineteen pre-setsto adjust display valuesfor compensating for differences in film types, light sources, digital sensors, or personal preferences. For easy identification of the compensation value, you can create custom names using the eight-character readout on the display.
Memory (Δ) Function
Another striking feature about the C-500R ProDigi Colour Flash Meter isits memory function which lets you observe differences in light-source brightness or colour. To use this function efficiently, first take a reference reading and press the memory (Δ) button. Following this, press the measuring button and measure any other light source to see the difference in brightness (foot-candle or Lux) or colour (Kelvin or filtration).
Power Source
The colour flash meter requires AA alkaline, lithium, or rechargeable batteries to perform its functions effectively.
